Gratitude must be expressed to squeeful  for providing resources.   Being hopelessly inept, I could only get the sound to play with no visual, I have no idea what I did wrong, but oh well.  Obviously the DVD I ordered didn't get here in time, so what to do?  YouTube actually had it, albeit in 10 minute chunks, but it was there.  When my DVD gets here I'll probably watch the first part again for better quality and to know when the first part actually ended, since I had to guess on YouTube.

I really enjoyed this, LC was pretty darn adorable with the mustache and hat.  As far as I can tell, pretty much everyone on the planet is under suspicion, and I can't wait to see Michael Caine and LC figure out who they think might have done it, if they do.  Thanks for letting me have a normal MS/LC watching Sunday!!

Oh yeay, and well done you for watching despite all that disaster!

It was rather jolly good, wasn't it? *g* LC was rather adorable, although I want to get to know him better so far, if you know what I mean. Love his sense of humour, just a touch Bodie-esque, and wasn't he good in The Ten Bells against Billy!

And you're right, it does feel like a normal Sunday again! I love it - it's sort of a committment, and yet it feels more like relaxing than anything else I do in the week, and that includes going to bed! *g*

I just this moment finished a comment to catsdownunder on my LJ how Lewis Collins seemed a bit like a tamer Bodie in the show today!!! Great minds, and all that. The Ten Bells bit was one of my favorite bits. You know, I'd never probably have watched this without the Not Pros Watch and what a shame that would have been. It is very good!!

It's (the Lads on Sunday) a wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable commitment!!

It's almost like an addiction, but a GOOD addiction.

I enjoyed the movie a lot. LC looks delicious and Michael Caine is good, as is Armand Assante. I like the period feel, although was London this "clean" back then? Almost all the whores have nice teeth! LOL! Really, though it's very entertaining. I like seeing procedures (ewww for the pathologist up to his elbows in blood!) from back then, including taking photographs of the crime scene and the idea being already known to study the forensics.

I really enjoyed it a great deal! The period clothing and level of forensics seemed accurate enough to me, but I'm no expert.
